We hope we didn’t alarm you too much with our little April Fool’s Day prank stating that tartan had been banned by the UK government.

Following on from our post on Monday, there was a method to our April Fool’s Day madness, as ‘Tartan Day’ is celebrated worldwide on the 6th April, which is this coming Saturday.

On the 6th April 1320, the Declaration of Arbroath was signed, confirming Scotland’s independence from England; therefore, with this upcoming annual celebration, what better time to share our love for the well-known chequered cloth?!
