With over forty year’s heritage in designing, manufacturing and supplying schoolwear, we are proud to support Independent Schoolwear retailers, our sole route to market. All of our garments undergo rigorous testing to ensure that they stand up to the day to day demands of school life. They have been designed to meet the needs of schools, parents and students – so that Winterbottom’s Schoolwear can be sold with confidence and worn with pride.

Winterbottom’s Schoolwear was established in 1977 by Graham Winterbottom who started his career working as a trainee in the garment manufacturing industry and took his experience in every aspect of the trade into his own business.  In 2015, Jonathan Lowe acquired Winterbottom’s Schoolwear through his holding company and the business is in the independent, private ownership of P5 Garments Limited. Working with a Positive Purpose to benefit our Planet, People and Prosperity, our small but highly experienced team combine international sourcing and progressive product development with Graham’s original ethos of quality products and personal service

We are dedicated to supplying independent schoolwear retailers and, from our office and warehouse in Carlisle, we supply retailers across the UK with high quality, great value school uniform.
