When did you decide to introduce tartan patterns to the Winterbottom’s range?
“We have carried a junior tartan range for several seasons and this has been very successful. As we had many requests for bespoke tartan skirts in senior styles, we extended the offer to include a stock supported SSK308 senior tartan skirt into our range in the 2017 catalogue. This was very well received and gave us the confidence to design a range of exclusive bespoke tartans for our 2019 collection. It’s a strong growth area for us and a successful way for schools to get a unique handwriting for their uniform offer.”
